Day 6 - Cheshire and Wales again

Day 6 (Thursday 22) - Devastation hits!

Paul was pumping his tyre up when devastation hit!

One of them had a split, showing the inner tube underneath. Aghhhhh!

Not a good idea to risk a 99 mile ride with it like that so luckily with a trip like this your like a boy scout and PREPARED - on went one of the spares.

Day 6 - Today's figures:
Time 6hrs 26mins

93.83miles
Elevation gained893
Avg speed 14.6
Top Speed 33.1

However, our idea of an early morning start was dashed!

Today's ride was pretty flat and we got around a lot quicker than we thought.

Got a little depressed when Warrington (work) appeared, and no I wasn't tempted to pop into the office!
Pop into work? I think not!
In general a good ride through some decent countryside and scenic villages.

We had good weather, little wind and plenty of water and food.

Not too much getting lost today either although we did overshoot the camp site. It was the GPS again, honest!

The campsite is pretty basic but you can't complain when they're giving us the fee they would charge to put towards our charity (thank you guys!). Very kind.

And a nice bonus is that our legs seemed to have been renewed and we're ready to go again.

Just a reminder...
As this is what we are doing it for... Please don't forget to pledge your donations of support. If you could only give 1p a mile for the 1050 miles we are doing it's £10.50 into the pot we are trying to raise - Help stop Cancer! Simply go to justgiving to leave your donation.

Time to set off - later than planned!
Yes, that's Wales AGAIN!
YES! England...
